LOCKSTAR LOCKSMITH POLICY
1. Customer Authorization & Legal Responsibility
By requesting locksmith services from Yhad Solutions LLC dba Lockstar Locksmith Tallahassee (“Lockstar Locksmith”), the customer represents and warrants that they are the legal owner, authorized user, tenant, employee, agent, or authorized representative of the vehicle, property, lock, or security system requiring service.
The customer accepts full responsibility for authorizing the requested locksmith services and agrees that Lockstar Locksmith is not responsible for disputes regarding ownership, possession, access rights, or authorization between the customer and any third party.
Lockstar Locksmith reserves the right to refuse service if reasonable proof of ownership, authorization, or legal access cannot be provided.
2. Identification & Proof of Ownership Requirements
For security and liability purposes, technicians may require valid identification and proof of ownership or authorization before beginning service.
Examples of acceptable documentation may include:
- Government-issued photo identification
- Vehicle registration
- Insurance documentation
- Title documents
- Lease agreement
- Business authorization letter
- Employee identification
- Property ownership documentation
- Other documentation reasonably acceptable to the technician
For automotive services, the customer may be required to provide identification matching the vehicle documentation before keys are generated, programmed, or duplicated.
3. Service Call / Dispatch Fee
A service call or dispatch fee applies to all mobile locksmith appointments and emergency service requests.
The service call fee may cover:
- Technician dispatch
- Travel time
- Fuel and vehicle expenses
- Scheduling and administrative costs
- Initial inspection and diagnosis
- On-site evaluation
The service call fee is earned once a technician has been dispatched and is non-refundable.
The service call fee remains payable if:
- The customer cancels after dispatch;
- The customer is unavailable upon technician arrival;
- The customer provides incorrect or incomplete information;
- The customer declines service after receiving the estimate; or
- The requested service cannot be completed due to vehicle, lock, security, hardware, software, or other conditions outside of Lockstar Locksmith’s control.
Follow-Up Service Requests
Lockstar Locksmith does not provide an automatic warranty or guarantee requiring the company to return to a customer’s location after a service has been completed.
If a customer contacts Lockstar Locksmith by telephone, text message, email, or other means after a service has been completed regarding an alleged issue or concern, Lockstar Locksmith may, at the company’s discretion, elect to return to the customer’s location as a courtesy or for further inspection.
Any decision by Lockstar Locksmith to provide a follow-up visit does not constitute an admission of liability, an admission that the original service was defective, or the creation of a warranty or guarantee.
If Lockstar Locksmith elects to provide a follow-up visit, the vehicle, property, lock, key, or other serviced item must be available at the same physical location and address where the original service was performed.
If the customer requests or requires the technician to travel to a different location or address, a $59.99 additional service call fee will apply.
The $59.99 fee is in addition to any applicable labor, parts, diagnostic, programming, or other service charges.
Lockstar Locksmith reserves the right to determine whether a follow-up visit will be provided and whether additional charges apply based on the circumstances of the request.
A follow-up visit does not guarantee that the reported issue will be determined to be related to the original locksmith service.
4. Estimates & Final Pricing
All prices provided by phone, text message, email, website forms, advertisements, or third parties are estimates only unless expressly identified as a final price.
Final pricing may change based on:
- Vehicle make, model, year, and security system
- Lock type and condition
- Required parts
- Key type
- Programming requirements
- Required diagnostic procedures
- Labor time
- Damage or complications discovered during service

Once the technician has completed the requested service, demonstrated the key’s operation, and the customer accepts the key and allows the technician to leave without reporting an operational problem, the customer acknowledges that the key was demonstrated to be functioning at the time of completion.
The customer understands that Lockstar Locksmith cannot control the condition or operation of the vehicle, key, remote, battery, electrical system, computer modules, immobilizer system, or other vehicle components after the technician leaves the service location.
